Having a dog and a full-time job

HAVING A DOG AND A FULL-TIME JOB - NO WORRIES, WE CAN DO IT.

Unfortunately, it is not that simple … At least not for me! I have not got a dog for it to be home by itself, but therefore of course we still have to go to work, have hobbies and arrange other things. There are friends you want to visit, etc.

And does all this have to do with having a dog and a full-time job?

For me, it does yes! I made a choice when I chose to get a dog … and with that choice comes an incredible number of joys, experiences and pleasant moments, but also obligations and a bad conscience ..

My boyfriend and I both have full-time jobs, as most others do. So there is our lovely little dog himself at home, and he does it fine, without any problems. Actually think he sleeps most of the day. At least our underlings never hear him 🙂 When I have time off, I look forward to coming home to my happy little mop, who comes towards me with a pug mouse and has to show off his teddy bears.

– There is nothing better!
But there are the days when I can not come home to him. I might have to work over or to the hairdresser. Or I only come for a couple of hours and have to slip away again ..
And I think that’s the worst thing there is! Gets such a bad conscience! Fortunately, this rarely happens as there are two of us sharing about it. So the days when I have plans, then my boyfriend is home or vice versa. In addition, also has a dog friend close by who has cared for Cody a few times if I think it will be too many hours he should be even one night.

I also try to plan myself out of the days when it may happen that our dog has to be even in the evening and I am certainly rather not pale for saying no thanks to things in everyday life if it is not something I can take Cody with to. I also typically choose to visit our home, instead of him being home alone AGAIN. SO is it also the question of whether your dog fits into your hobbies and hobbies? Among other things, I go for spinning 1 el. 2 days a week, and I adapt it so that I have time to get home and go with Cody first before I leave.

But other than that, Cody is my Hobby!
We have at times gone to dog training, but otherwise just meeting other dog owners and their dogs and watching the dogs play together is just worth gold! – And then we have Cody with all the places he can come with – he loves to come with family visits.

I certainly would not do without for anything, to have a dog. But it is a choice like everything else, and by having a dog I say no thanks to other things ..
