Cooling: From drying suit to cooling suit

Even though the Danish summer has not yet offered many hot days, it is good to be prepared for them to come. Because when the temperature rises, our dogs often find it difficult to get rid of the heat.

Dogs do not sweat in the same way as us humans, but through the paws and tongue. This means that the dog begins to ‘throat’, to keep the body temperature down.

BUT HOW CAN YOU HELP YOUR DOG COOL, SO IT AVOID HEAT COATS?

I want to show you a really good tip ..

You may know the drying suit from Siccaro, which can dry a wet dog in just 15 minutes.

Besides being an indispensable drying suit for the wet days, it can also act as a cooling suit on the hot days.

The Siccaro suit is simply soaked in water, and then twisted a bit so that it is not too heavy, but still wet. Then the drying suit is put on as usual and the dog is cooled.

However, it is recommended that when the Siccaro suit is used as a cooling suit, that it is not used for longer than 30 minutes.

By watching the video below, you can see the procedure. (NOTE: The video is in English)

Really good summer!
